The Austrian Go Federation and Go7 happily announce the Austrian Youth Championship!
Date: 1-3 November, 2024
Venue: Go7
Eligibility to play: all players under 18 years old (born after 1.1.2006.)
Eligibility to titles and financial support for EYGC (details to be announced): best placed U12 Austrian citizen and best placed U18 Austrian citizen in final standings
Tournament system and criteria: McMahon, 5 rounds, (SOS, DC)
Time settings: Fischer time 45min+15sec
Handicap -2 is used in games between two DDKs.

The best three players in the whole tournament will be rewarded vouchers for a new Go shop – Go Factory!
A teaching camp (tsumego, lessons, simultaneous games) will be organized during the tournament. Li Ting 1p, Elian Grigoriu 6d, and Mirta Medak 3d will be your teachers.
