This is an open call for Go players who:
- are Austrian nationals
- reside in Vienna
- are 1dan or weaker
and want to participate at the The 2nd World Pair Go Official Handicap Tournament as a part of Pair Go World Festival 2025 in Osaka (organized within Osaka Expo).
In case the player is a child, they must play with their parent.

This is a special invitation for the players who reside in Vienna because Takarazuka City in Hyogo Prefecture (next to Osaka) is a sister city of Vienna and tries to promote Go to children. The invited pair will participate in a trip to Takarazuka City 1 day before or after the tournament (the date is not final yet). Arrival is August 6th or 7th, departure is August 11th or 12th.
Accommodation and meals are covered by the organizers, and the players will be given 80000 yen for the flight ticket.
As the invitation came on quite short notice, please express your interest by 7th May. In case more players are interested, their activity in the past year (in EGF rated tournaments), their pair go experience and EGD strength will be considered in choice of the players.
